The UI design centres around the concept of juxtaposition, built form vs organic matter. The physical experience of CSLA’s work was explored via subtle interactions which highlight the material details of the spaces. The aim of the project was to provide CSLA with a refreshed website that captured their values with a cost conscious CMS/design and development process.
Discovering Materiality
Materiality moments where highlighted in hover state interactions which revealed the textures of the project and furthered the dialogue between built form and natural elements integral to CSLA’s work. Prismic was selected as the CMS for it’s low cost and ease in publishing content.
Custom CSLA Grid
The grid referenced the division of space within CSLA’s projects, where the angular form of concrete frames the natural elements of the site. As more projects are added the grid will evolve in an organic way.
Responsive
Ensuring the site worked beautifully across all breakpoints is an important part of our builds, from mobile to desktop.
