We worked with Living Lab Northern Rivers to design a new website and brand that could grow with them and communicate the important and impactful work they are doing in Lismore. As leaders in the field of research based community future proofing, they needed a platform that was easy to update, clear to navigate, and able to present a wide range of content. Along with a clear brand system that could be implemented coherently by other members of the team after we stepped away from the project.

Something special

We built an in browser tool based on the Transformational Shift concept where the future is always shifting and we only see part of the picture.

It allows the LLNR team to upload any image and generate visual assets by adjusting a defined set of brand variables, like colour overlays, grid shifts, text blocks, and layout styles. The result is a series of instantly usable, consistent visuals that can be exported for banners, cards, presentations, and social posts.

The tool extends their brand rather than locking it down. It gives the team creative control while keeping things cohesive, and it's been used far beyond the site itself. This approach helped us create a flexible, modular site that feels alive, reflects place, and gives the team everything they need to update and grow their digital presence.
